Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of generator remote monitoring tools for standby diesel generators at OR Tambo International Airport. Bidders should be qualified suppliers in generator monitoring technology, with CIDB contractor grading of 1EB/1EP (Electrical building works) or higher, and relevant electrical/electronic qualifications and installation experience.

Requirements

• CIDB: 1EB/1EP or higher (Electrical building works).
• Tax and registration compliance: SARS PIN for tax status; where applicable, TCS certificate or CSD number (separate for joint ventures).
• Returnable documents: complete on official forms; include required pricing schedules and service information as issued.
• Qualifications and experience (Functionality criteria): Electrician qualification (N2 or higher with trade certificate; 30 points), minimum 4 years’ relevant experience (gateway installations for Deepsea controllers; 30 points), and multiple company references (40 points). Minimum overall functionality score of 80/100 to proceed to price/preference.
• Briefing/site inspections: compulsory attendance; compliance evidence required.

• Bid validity: 12 weeks (84 days).
