Overview

Procurement of Functional Capacity and Psychological Assessments for two officials (Musina/Beitbridge and Pretoria). Eligible bidders are psychology/psychiatry service providers who can deliver on-site assessments and provide comprehensive reports; the service must be delivered at the provider’s practice with BMA bringing the official to the site.

Requirements

• Psychiatric Doctor registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) with proof of registration.
• Ability to perform Functional Capacity and Psychological assessments and produce comprehensive reports per official.
• On-site service model: BMA will bring the official to the service provider’s practice; include no travelling costs in the bid.
• Professional Indemnity insurance min. R160 million.
• Tax/compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or SARS Tax Clearance; if no PIN, provide CSD number; separate TCS for joint ventures/subcontractors.
• BBBEE: active BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; compliance data for 80/20 preference system.
• Compliance forms: complete SBD1, SBD3.1 (Pricing Schedule), SBD4 (Bidder’s Disclosure), SBD6.1 (Preference Points claim); and sign SBD7.1 if awarded.
• National regulations: comply with PFMA SCM Instructions; non-South African employees not permitted unless vetted.
• Pricing: firm prices (VAT included) with all delivery costs included; lead times to be stated; 120-day bid validity.
• Provide proof of authority to sign bids (board/resolution) as part of the submission.
