Overview

The RAF seeks information on a Cloud-Hosted Observability Solution to unify telemetry across its hybrid technology environment for enterprise-wide monitoring, analytics and operational intelligence. The RAF invites eligible OEMs or accredited partners/resellers registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with compliant SA tax affairs to respond (RFI RAF/2026/00048; source: RFI - Mimecast Cloud Hosted Obervability Solution - Final.pdf..pdf). Responses must be emailed to bacsecretariat@raf.co.za quoting RAF/2026/00048 by 26 August 2026 11:00. This is a non-binding market-information exercise.

Requirements

• Eligible supplier: registered on the CSD; tax affairs in order; not listed as Tender Defaulter/Restricted Supplier.
• Respondent type: OEM or accredited partner/reseller with current SA authorisation to market, implement and support the solution.
• Core information: provide Sections 7.1 items and fully complete capability matrices (Sections 6.1–6.8) with no blank rows; explain Partial/Roadmap entries.
• Technical scope: cloud-hosted observability across hybrid environments, with deployment architecture, data residency and telemetry/integration approach.
• Security/compliance: RBAC, MFA, SSO, encryption, audit logs, POPIA support, and compliance reporting.
