Overview

Request For Information on Office Cleaning Materials to gather market input for standardising specifications across government procurement. The National Treasury, through the OCPO: Strategic Procurement, is conducting an information-gathering exercise to inventory cleaning materials used by government institutions. The aim is to develop minimum bid specifications and a government-wide specification library on the eTenders portal, based on market availability, technical requirements, packaging, and sustainability. Respondents should be manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, or other industry players providing input on product specs, packaging, performance, and market availability.

Requirements

• Respondents: manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and other relevant industry players.
• Provide information on cleaning material specifications, packaging, performance, sustainability, and availability, per Annexure A (attached as ANNEXU~2.XLS).
• Attend the information meeting on 12 November 2026 (MS Teams) and provide input thereon (RFI SP01-2026 Office Cleaning Materials.pdf).
• Submit inputs by 06 November 2026 11:00 via the National Treasury eTenders portal (advertised 14 Oct–06 Nov 2026).
