Overview

RFI for a Conflict of Interest Management System to centralize declarations, support investigations, and visualize associations between employees and external parties. Potential bidders should have experience with enterprise risk/compliance software, data integration (HR systems, external data sources), analytics, and POPIA/GDPR-like privacy considerations; familiarity with SAP or similar systems is a plus.

Requirements

• Centralized conflict declarations database with automated workflows; customizable forms; HR system integration.
• Investigation and link-detection capabilities with external data sources (e.g., CIPC records, social media, banking details) and visualization of relationships.
• Data analytics, dashboards, alerts, and reporting for declarations and investigations.
• System integration and security requirements, including hosting details and POPIA/compliance considerations; clear data centre information.
• User-friendly interfaces for employees and administrators; ability to demonstrate case studies of similar deployments.
• Supplier requirements and response guidelines; provide core features, technical specs, and relevant case studies.
• Mandatory documents and compliance checks (see Annexures A–N); confidentiality and integrity provisions.

• Registrations/compliance: Tax compliance status (TCS PIN or SARS e-filing), CSD registration, BBBEE certificate or affidavit, KYC under POPIA, and related compliance.
