Overview

Request for Information (RFI) for suppliers capable of designing, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning a complete gas monitoring system. Eskom invites qualified, registered suppliers with experience in gas monitoring or gas detection systems to respond to an RFI for a complete gas monitoring system to be used in the Oil, Coal, Water and Microbiology Laboratories within Eskom RT&D at Rosherville, Johannesburg. Submissions are to be made electronically via Eskom e-Tendering.

Requirements

• Registered suppliers with relevant experience in design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of gas monitoring or gas detection systems
• Ability to monitor oxygen levels and gas supply pressure across 14 laboratory areas
• System to include oxygen detectors, gas pressure transmitters, control panel with audible/visual alarms, battery backup, remote monitoring, and central status display
• Pressure monitoring solution to handle Argon, Helium, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Mixed Gas, Synthetic Air, Medical Oxygen, LPG, and P10; 0–250 bar; 4–20 mA outputs
• Provide indicative pricing for the complete solution (design, supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, software/licensing, and maintenance)
• Provide lead time from purchase order to final commissioning and handover
• System expandable for future laboratory zones; include expansion limits or infrastructure needs
