Requirements

• Tax and supplier registrations: provide SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD number; VAT status if applicable.
• Preference point mechanism: 80/20 system (price 80, specific goals 20); specific goals include 10 Black, 5 Woman, 3 Youth, 2 Disability; provide required proof (IDs, CSD reports, etc.).
• If claiming specific goals, supply supporting documents as required; non-compliance may forfeit points.
• Quotes must be firm and valid for 60 days from the closing date (see SBD3.1).

• Ensure compliance tools: SARS PIN or CSD details; BBBEE status as required.
