Procurement of professional services to remove and replace asbestos pipes in the domestic water line system at King Phalo Airport for a two-year NEC3 Professional Services Contract. Bidders should be qualified engineering consultancies with NEC3 PSC experience, asbestos handling, water pipeline rehabilitation/removal, and strong OH&S capabilities; required registrations include CESA membership and SARS tax/compliance prerequisites (PIN/CSD).

Requirements

• Fully completed and signed Form of Offer and Acceptance plus mandatory returnable documents (SBDs, confidentiality, BEE, etc.).
• Valid membership/registration with CESA.
• Demonstrated company experience: minimum 3 references for similar water-line/asbestos works; likely 2 asbestos-involved projects; relevant client details and scope.
• Key personnel: Project Manager/Engineer (Pr.Eng with ≥6 years in water/wastewater and asbestos projects), Supervisor, and Health and Safety Agent (SAPCMP) with specified experience.
• Insurance: Professional Indemnity (R5M), Public Liability (R10M), and statutory workers’ comp coverage.
• Compliance: Tax Compliance Status (SARS PIN) or CSD number; VAT status; standard BEE declarations.
• NEC3 PSC requirements including risk, health, safety, and environmental terms; familiarity with site access and permit regimes.
