Overview

This tender seeks to appoint a professional service provider to implement an ERP information system on behalf of Vaal Central Water. Bidder should be ERP implementation specialists with utilities/applications familiarity, GRAP-compliant finance reporting, data migration, and ability to integrate with SCADA and GIS; must typically be OEM-partnered or accredited for the proposed ERP, and possess strong project governance and transfer of skills capabilities.

Requirements

• Attend the compulsory briefing on 3 June 2026 at 11:00 (VCW Head Office) and provide proof of attendance. (Tender advert, ERP Briefing Session)
• Demonstrate OEM affiliation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, SAGE) or approved partner status and ability to transfer skills.
• Provide professional indemnity insurance details and limits.
• Submit corporate/partnership documentation (certificate of incorporation or equivalent) and valid tax compliance status (SARS PIN) plus UIF/other compliance where applicable.
• Be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with full records.
• Provide BBBEE documentation (certificate or sworn affidavit) and meet locality requirements; meet local area supply and related proof (rates, lease, or authority).
• Demonstrate proven ERP implementation experience with three client references (letters, not just appointment letters) within five years; show capability to deliver across the ERP scope.
• Confirm ability to deliver extended training, data migration, system integration, minimal customization, and post-implementation support; ISO 11799:2015 accreditation for records/document management is preferred.
