Overview

Provision of catastrophe modelling services for general reinsurance business. Open to qualified consulting firms (including joint ventures), selected via Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS). Submissions are via email to KenyaReProcurement@kenyare.co.ke, with a 7 July 2026 deadline.

Requirements

• Proposals must include a Technical Proposal (TECH-1 to TECH-7 forms) and a Financial Proposal (FIN-1 to FIN-4), submitted in separate envelopes or attachments, with Power of Attorney and mandatory documentary evidence.
• Key and non-key experts must be presented; Key Experts must come from eligible countries and cannot appear in more than one proposal if restricted.
• Compliance and ethics: provide tax compliance certificate; non-debarment by PPRA; no conflicts of interest; comply with Kenya’s fraud and corruption laws (Certificate of Independent Proposal Determination).
• Financials: tender security of KES 150,000; no price adjustment (per Data Sheet); currency for local costs in KES; reimbursements detailed in FIN-2/FIN-3/FIN-4; fees inclusive of Kenyan taxes.
• Eligibility: JV size restrictions (NA specified); public officers disqualified; no concurrent conflicting assignments; standstill period after award.

How to Apply

• Inform in writing by 25 June 2026 whether you will submit and whether you plan to associate with others (if permissible) (see RFP).
• Submit by 7 July 2026, 10:00 AM East Africa Time, via email to KenyaReProcurement@kenyare.co.ke.
• Include: two inner envelopes (Technical and Financial) containing the required forms; Power of Attorney; tender security; and all documentary evidence.
• Clarifications may be requested up to 7 days before the deadline; pre-proposal conference is not required.
