Overview

Procurement of programming, commissioning, AMR and remote reading and installation of check meters. Bidders with expertise in meter programming, commissioning and installation of AMR/remote-reading systems should consider bidding.

Requirements

• Experience in programming, commissioning and installation of AMR and check meters.
• Ability to deliver in accordance with PPPFA 80/20 and BBBEE scoring (80/20, BBBEE 10, Specific Goals 10).
• Attendance at the compulsory briefing session.
• Compliance with bid submission requirements (sealed envelope, clearly marked with Bid number and Project Name; submission by the closing date).

• Bid documents available from 10 June 2026 (08h00–16h00) at the Supply Chain Management offices (No. 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown) or via download on the municipal website and National Treasury Etender Portals (filename: COMBINED ADVERT- READVERT CHECK METERS.docx).
• Submit completed bid documents in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the Bid number SCM35/06/2026 and Project Name; place in the bid box at Budget and Treasury offices no later than 12h00 on 23 June 2026; bids open in public.
• Questions: no questions entertained 4 days before the closing date (refer to bid documents).
• Briefing session: compulsory; venue is 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown (details in the bid documents).
