REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE ACQUISITION OF INTEGRATED CLOUD EMAIL SECURITY SOLUTION, LICENSING AND SUPPORT FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS AT AIRPORTS COMPANY SOUTH AFRICAClosed

Overview

The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) invites proposals for an Integrated Cloud Email Security Solution, including licensing and 36 months of support, aligned with its Microsoft 365 environment. Bidders should have OEM accreditation for ICES with M365 API integration, and hold relevant information security certifications; the process targets providers with proven ICES delivery and references. Scope covers approximately 4,600 users.

Requirements

• Relevant OEM accreditation for the Integrated Cloud Email Security solution with M365 API integration.
• Compliance with information security standards (ISO/IEC 27001:2022, NIST CSF, or PCI DSS) and a clear data-protection plan.
• Minimum of three client reference letters for ICES with M365 integration.
• Implementation plan proving deployment within three months after award.
• Attendance at the compulsory briefing and submission of the Pricing Schedule.
• Tax and supplier registrations: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; Central Supplier Database registration; VAT details as applicable.
• Returnable documents (as required in the bid pack): OEM Accreditation, Pricing Schedule, Information Security Standards confirmation, Client Reference letters, SBD forms, confidentiality agreements, and related declarations (see Annexures in the RFP; Annexure A – Scope of Work is in the attached scope document).

• Briefing: Compulsory briefing on 29 May 2026 at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams. (Briefing details are in the RFP.)
• Submission method: Bids must be submitted electronically via email to Sydney.Mfeka@airports.co.za. No physical submissions. (Submission method is in the RFP.)
• Documents to submit: Pricing Schedule, OEM Accreditation, Information Security Standards, Client Reference letters, Tax PIN/CSD details, SBD forms, and other returnables listed in the bid documents. Notes:

• Annexure A – Scope of Work details ICES requirements and is in the attached scope document (Email Security Scope of Work (002).pdf).
• Evaluation uses a staged approach; Stage 1 is mandatory (OEM accreditation, security standards, references, implementation plan, briefing, pricing). Stage 2 focuses on pricing and preference (as applicable). Specific goals include B-BBEE Level 5, Black youth and other targeted goals.
