REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR ASSET VALUATION

Overview

Procurement of consultancy services for asset valuation for Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Ltd. Bid for asset valuation consultancy is open to firms with expertise in land economics/real estate valuation, asset valuation, GIS, and mechanical/electrical engineering; must be registered with Kenyan professional bodies (e.g., VRB/ISK), comply with PPRA/Kenya anti-corruption laws, not be debarred, and meet other eligibility criteria. The assignment targets institutional asset valuation projects (value not less than KSh 2.5B) and requires a qualified, multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance with Kenyan law, PPRA rules, anti-corruption provisions, tax clearance, and no debarment; no conflicts of interest.
• Minimum expert team: Project Manager/Team Leader (Land Economics/Real Estate), Experts in Land Economics/Real Estate Valuation, Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, GIS knowledge; senior licenses/certifications with VRB/ISK/EBK as applicable; evidence of qualifications.
• Experience: at least 3 institutional asset valuation projects in last 7 years with value ≥ KSh 2.5B each; evidence via mandatory documentary evidence.
• Submission and procurement: QCBS/QBS approach with only technical proposals required; bid security (where applicable); site visits mandatory; non-electronic submission; 120-day proposal validity; currency in Kenya Shillings; separate original and copies packaging.
