Overview

Procurement of a panel of service providers to supply and deliver stationery items and office materials to PRASA KwaZulu-Natal on an as-and-when-required basis for 36 months. Bidders should be suppliers of stationery and office materials with capacity to serve PRASA KZN, able to participate individually or as a joint venture/consortium, and meet the RFP’s compliance and evaluation requirements (see Annexures for forms and schedules).

Requirements

• Evidence of capability to supply the required goods and financial capacity; Category 1 (Stationery) and Category 2 (Office Materials) inventories to be listed (Annexure A/B).
• Past performance: appointment letters/contracts and reference letters for projects each valued at at least R50,000.
• Compliance: registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliance status or SARS PIN/TCS; provide CSD/TCS details as applicable (Form B, Form D, Form F).
• Commitment to preferred category selection (Category 1 or Category 2) and ability to supply items listed, with ITIF delivery when PO is issued.
• Mandatory RFP briefing attendance; non-attendance may disqualify (29 August briefing details in Annexure 2).
• Complete bid documents per the RFP structure: Part A (mandatory), Part B (technical/functional), Form C (pricing), SBD 4 (disclosure), and related annexures; confidentiality and funding-contingency provisions apply.

How to Apply

• Download the RFP documents from National Treasury e-Tender (Annexure 1) and review the full requirements.
• Attend the compulsory briefing: 27 August 2026 at 10:00, PRASA KZN, 65 Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, Greyville (attendance certificate required; see Annexure 2).
• Submit a sealed bid to The Secretariat / Tender Office, PRASA KZN, Tender Box No.04, 65 Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, Greyville, Durban Station, by 16 September 2026 12:00.
• Include: Form A (Invitation to Bid), Form B (Terms), Form C (Pricing Schedule), Form F (Security Screening), Form G/H as applicable, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, and Annexures A–H; ensure CSD and tax-compliance details (see Annexure 2).
