Overview

Procurement of a service provider to deliver semi-intensive and light coach cleaning services for turnaround stations in the Western Cape region over 36 months. Bidders should have relevant transport-cleaning experience, and be compliant with South African supplier requirements (CSD registration, tax compliance, BBBEE considerations). The project is issued by PRASA (Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa).

Requirements

• Compulsory briefing on 28 July 2026 at Cape Town Station; attendance proof required.
• Bid submissions in two sealed envelopes: Volume 1 (technical/compliance) and Volume 2 (financial: Tender Form C and Price Schedule).
• Submit to PRASA Tender Drop Off Office, 3 Old Marine Drive, Cape Town 8000, by 17 August 2026, 12:00.
• Documents to submit: Forms A, B, C, D, E, F, G; SBD 4; SBD 6.1; confidentiality and related returnables.
• Registrations and pre-qualifications: National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; Tax compliance (SARS TCS Pin) or equivalent; for consortia, each party must have separate TCS/CSD.
• Additional requirements: site briefing certificate (Form D); security screening (Form F) if applicable; provide proof of Workmen’s Compensation, Securities and Insurance within 30 working days of award; sign contract within 7 days of contract readiness.
• Evaluation: 80/20 scoring (price vs. specific goals); specific goals carry 20 points;BAFO possible; costs incurred by bidders are non-reimbursable.
• JV/Consortiums: if forming a JV/consortium, submit signed agreement with % split or a written intention to form one (awards subject to signing).
