Overview

The Provision of Ash Dam Monitoring, Dam safety evaluation and Stability assessment for a 36-month period at Komati Power Station. Eskom seeks the appointment of Approved Professional Persons (engineering consultants) to monitor Komati’s ash and water dams and perform dam safety evaluations and stability assessments over three years. This is a professional services procurement aimed at firms with dam-monitoring, geotechnical/structural assessment and quality-management capability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in ash dam monitoring and dam safety evaluation; ability to deliver a 36-month program.
• Demonstrated competence in professional services contracts (NEC3 PSC3 framework) and quality assurance (ISO 9001 via Eskom Form A).
• Ability to provide a Quality Control Plan / Inspection and Test Plan (QCP/ITP) and relevant documentation (SOPs, method statements).
• Compliance with Eskom supplier pre-requisites: integrity declarations, local content declarations, and SBD bid forms; potentially CIDB-related qualifications and insurance cover.
• Health and safety planning documentation and risk management in line with OHS requirements.
