REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO IMPLEMENT PEST CONTROL MANAGEMENT AT OLIEWENHUIS ART MUSEUM IN RESPECT OF THE ROCK HYRAX (DASSIE)

Overview

The National Museum invites proposals to implement pest control management to address a Rock Hyrax (Dassie) infestation at Oliewenhuis Art Museum, using humane capture and relocation by a qualified wildlife/environmental management service. Bidders should have proven experience in wildlife capture, relocation, site risk assessment, and humane methods, with applicable environmental permits.

Requirements

• Company profile of a company specialising in professional wildlife and environmental management services
• Bidder proposal or methodology for providing the service
• Proof of bidder’s location (Municipal rates and taxes statement or lease agreement)
• CV and qualifications for a Technician (environmental sciences, environmental health, natural sciences, pest control or similar)
• Copy of Department of Environmental Affairs permit
• At least three reference letters or purchase orders for similar services
• SBD4 form completed and signed
• bidder’s CSD registration report
• SARS tax pin copy
• CIPC registration documents
• Compulsory briefing session
• Functionality and evaluation criteria: minimum 70/100 for functionality; 80/20 price-preference; preferential criteria (BBEE status, local Free State base, youth/women/people with disabilities ownership) with proof of claims required.
