Overview

Lease of a 1,341 m2 premises at Ocean Road, Port of Cape Town, for up to ten years, to be leased on an 'as is' basis with bidder-funded refurbishment. The TNPA tender invites bids from capable property developers/operators with port-land leasing/refurbishment experience. The site is currently occupied; exclusions apply (no hazardous chemicals storage, truck refuelling, etc.). A non-compulsory briefing is on 14 Oct 2026 at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams; site visits by arrangement. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in the proposed use; company profile with evidence; at least 2 reference letters (not older than 5 years).
• Financial capacity: bank rating; cash flow projections for lease term; capital expenditure plan and maintenance plan; detailed WBS/project schedule.
• Compliance: tax compliance (PIN/CSD); CSD registration; B-BBEE status (certificate or sworn affidavit);
• Alignment to PDFP and port-related market analysis; demonstrable value to port operations.
• Essential returnable documents: SBD 1; Tax PIN; Environmental Management Plan; Joint Venture agreements if applicable; letters of good standing; latest financial statements; etc.
