REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO LEASE THE PREMISES IN EXTENT OF 190m2 AT ALKMAAR

Overview

Lease of a 190m2 premises at Alkmaar Road, Port of Cape Town, for up to ten years (with potential refurbishment) for storage/laydown as a port tenant. Bid by property developers/owners or operators with port/industrial leasing experience and the ability to fund fit-out, subject to TNPA lease terms and regulatory/compliance checks.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance PIN/status and, if needed, TCS; provide CSD number if no TCS.
• CSD registration before award.
• B-BBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit (EMEs/QSEs applicable).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the proposed use; include supporting evidence (e.g., lease/licence).
• At least 2 reference letters not older than 5 years.
• Bank rating not older than 3 months.
• Capital expenditure plan and maintenance plan with a detailed WBS/schedule.
• Ability to undertake refurbishment/fit-out; site inspections prior to submission; compliance with Employment Equity and confidentiality requirements.
