REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO LEASE THE PREMISES IN EXTENT OF 204m2 AT BERIO ROAD FOR THE PORT OF CAPE TOWN FOR A PERIOD OF UP TO TEN (10) YEARS.

Overview

This RFP is to lease a 204m2 office premises at Berio Road, Port of Cape Town, for up to ten (10) years. Bidders should be landlords or property developers with office-leasing experience and the capability to refurbish and maintain the space to Transnet TNPA standards, and to comply with tax, B-BBEE, security, and supplier governance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the proposed use, with verifiable evidence.
• At least 2 reference letters from relevant operations (not older than 5 years).
• Demonstration of a bank rating (recent, e.g., within 3 months).
• Capital expenditure plan for refurbishment/upgrade for the lease term.
• Maintenance plan with costs and schedule.
• Cash flow/financial viability over the lease term.
• Compliance with tax (PIN/CSD) and B-BBEE requirements; security clearance and DPIP/FPPO disclosures where applicable.
