REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO LEASE THE PREMISES IN EXTENT OF 7,442m2 AT SOUTHEAST

Overview

Lease of 7,442 m2 of premises at Southeast and Springbock Quay, Elliot Basin, Port of Cape Town, for up to ten years. Bidders should have port-area property leasing/refurbishment capability, and be able to meet tax/CSD/B-BBEE, security clearance, and environmental/maintenance requirements, with a plan aligned to port development goals.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD registration; separate TCS for JV/sub-contractors
• B-BBEE: valid certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs) to be included for scoring
• Central Supplier Database registration prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years experience in the proposed use, with evidence
• At least 2 reference letters not older than 5 years
• Financial viability: bank rating (not older than 3 months) and signed cash flow projections
• Ability and funding for refurbishment/maintenance plans; maintenance plan aligned to the property
• Pre-submission inspections and site access arrangements
• Compliance with legal, environmental and safety requirements; may require security clearance
• JV/consortium documents if applicable (joint venture agreements or intention to enter into one)
