Overview

Procurement of cleaning and hygiene services for SABC North-West for a three-year period. Bidders should be service providers with cleaning/hygiene expertise, compliant with local regulations, BBBEE, tax, and CSD registrations. Bids require an operational office within 250 km of Mafikeng.

Requirements

• Mandatory documents to be provided upfront, including:
  • Safe hazardous waste disposal certificate/manifest (past 3 years).
  • Physical address of operational office.
  • Valid annual certified copy of a recognised cleaning industry association (e.g., NCCA or BCCIC).
• Radius qualification: operational offices within 250 km of SABC Mafikeng.
• Tax and B-BBEE/compliance:
  • SARS PIN for tax status.
  • Valid BBBEE certificate (SANAS-accredited) or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs.
  • TV license proof or affidavit.
  • Certified company registration, shareholders’ documents, IDs for directors.
  • Last 3 years audited/reviewed statements or management accounts.
  • CSD registration proof.
• Compliance with SABC policies and prohibitions on misrepresentation/fronting; bid validity 180 days.

• Documents to submit: complete bid proposal using the SABC documents and pricing workbook; include Annexure A costing model (see 26Costing Model- Annexure A.xlsx) and all returnable forms (Documents A–K).
