Appointment of a Service Provider to Support Climate Change Act Implementation in 10 District Municipalities within the Western/Southern Corridor. SALGA seeks a service provider to develop or update NRAs, deliver RVAs and GHG inventories, verify climate investment data, produce a consolidated five-year climate investment report, and refine a climate finance opportunities database, paired with capacity-building and knowledge sharing across ten district municipalities (Western Cape, Northern Cape, Free State, Eastern Cape). The 11-month assignment requires proven climate-change planning and municipal governance experience, ability to transfer skills to SALGA, and robust data verification, reporting, and capacity-building capabilities for SA municipalities. Proposals should demonstrate relevant climate governance expertise, familiarity with SA environmental legislation, and a track record of working with municipalities.
