Overview

Appointment of a panel of service providers for the provision of photographic and videographic services and editing to multimedia to the CSIR for a period of 5 years. Bidders should be professional photographers, videographers and multimedia editors/production houses with proven capability in stills, video, post‑production, reels/shorts for social platforms, and related services (e.g., drone work, voice‑overs, music rights, complex editing). The contract anticipates on‑site and off‑site shoots and rotational panel allocation.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications include proven company capability and portfolio; compliance with CSIR terms.
• Submit proposals electronically, two parts: PART 1 Technical Proposal and PART 2 Pricing Proposal, referencing RFP 3784/28/10/2026.
• Pricing must follow Annexure D; returnable documents per Annexure E; separate from technical proposal.
• Ensure binding documents: JV arrangements if applicable, valid B‑BBEE certificate, CSD registration with reference number, and SARS tax compliance status; maintain tax/compliance status throughout.
• Comply with PPPFA/fronting provisions and confidentiality; adhere to CSIR supplier agreement framework (Annexure K).
• If applicable, provide required subcontractor controls and safety/health policies.

• Deadline: 28 October 2026 at 16:30; questions by 23 October 2026 at 16:30. Non‑compulsory online briefing 21 October 2026, 09:00–10:00 via Teams (Teams link in the RFP).
• Submission method: electronic to tender@csir.co.za. If file size exceeds 25MB, submit in multiple emails with proper subject references.
• Documents to complete/submit: Annexure A (SBD 1), Annexure B (Technical Specification), Annexure C (Evaluation Matrix), Annexure D (Pricing Schedule), Annexure E (Proposal Form/Returnables), Annexure F–J as applicable, Annexure K (Draft Service Level Agreement).
