Request for Proposals (RFP) for The Provision of an Integrated Towfish and Towing System to the CSIRClosed

Overview

The CSIR is procuring an integrated Towfish and Towing System (including design, supply, integration, testing and support). Bidders with expertise in marine systems, underwater robotics, hydrodynamics, winch and tether engineering, and systems integration should bid, with strong engineering, project management and lifecycle-support capabilities and compliance with SA procurement rules (including CSD and tax compliance).

Requirements

• National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with a unique reference number.
• Tax compliance with SARS (PIN/TCS) and, for joint ventures, separate TCS/CSD for each party.
• Valid B-BBEE status certificate or consolidated scorecard.
• No fronting; PPPFA compliance and related anti-corruption safeguards.
• Submit mandatory returnable documents (Annexure E) and pricing schedule (Annexure D) as separate documents, plus standard bidding forms (Annexures A/H) and related declarations.
• Proposals must be signed by authorised persons and submitted in the prescribed two-email format.

• Documents to submit: Technical proposal; Pricing proposal; Pricing Schedule (Annexure D); Returnable docs (Annexure E); SBDs (Annexure A/H), NDA (Annexure J), etc. Pricing and specific goals credentials to be separate from the technical proposal. (Annexures A–J)
