Overview

Procurement of Rehabilitation, Restoration, Development, Operation and Maintenance of the golf course on Robben Island World Heritage Site. Suitable bidders include developers, golf course operators, investors, consortiums or strategic partners capable of financing and delivering a concession-style arrangement that preserves UNESCO Outstanding Universal Value (OUV). Requirements

• Tax, registration and procurement compliance: SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD registration; BBBEE requirements; separate TCS/PIN for each JV/consortium member; no bids from in-state service positions. (RIM-RFP03/2026/27 Golf Cource final.pdf)
• Legal form: bid must be from a single legal entity; JVs/consortia allowed with appropriate joint agreements and documentation.
• Mandatory documents and qualifications: company profile, at least three comparable golf-related projects (rehabilitation, operations or heritage/tourism) with references; technical methodology; environmental and heritage compliance plans; project team with listed roles.
