Overview

The CSIR invites proposals from experienced energy-management consultants to implement an ISO 50001-based Energy Management System (EnMS) for a heavy manufacturing company in the Northern Cape under the NCPC-SA programme. Bidders should have proven EnMS/ISO 50001 delivery, industrial energy-efficiency project experience, and capability to manage a CSIR-led knowledge-transfer project.

Requirements

• Demonstrated EnMS/ISO 50001 implementation experience and a successful track record on similar engagements.
• Ability to submit a two-part proposal (Technical and Pricing) via separate emails to tender@csir.co.za with clear RFP references.
• Compliance with CSIR procurement terms, including Annexure A (SBD 1), Annexure D (Pricing Schedule), and mandatory returnable documents (Annexure E); JV documents if applicable.
• Registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax-compliant (SARS); provide CSD number.
• Not listed on National Treasury tender defaulters or restricted-supplier lists.
• For joint ventures: JV agreement, consolidated B-BBEE, and CSD/TCS for partners.
