The scope requires a SANAS-accredited laboratory to conduct quarterly groundwater chemical/hydrocarbon analyses for 15 points, monthly surface water chemical/hydrocarbon analyses for 15 points, monthly bacteriological analysis (sewage), and full SANAS 0241 drinking-water analysis for 7 points, with monthly/quarterly reporting and quarterly contractor meetings. Bids are evaluated on price (80) and specific goals (20) with a 60-business-day validity, and the budget is up to R50 million.
