Overview

Provision of comprehensive bus and rail ticketing systems support, maintenance, enhancements, integration and upgrades for PRASA over six months. Bidders should have proven experience in bus/rail ticketing, including NEW9220 POS devices, EMV payment facilitation, and secure interoperability with PRASA platforms (SAP, STAR, TOMS, TDMS, GIS and Omni-Channels); must ensure revenue protection and knowledge transfer to PRASA ICT, with POPIA/PCI DSS compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum team and experience: Project Manager with 10+ years and PRINCE2/PMP; Application Development Lead 10+ years; Senior Integration Specialist 8+; Senior/Intermediate Applications Developers 7+; PoS/Payment Specialist 7+ with client references.
• Technical and security: Linux/SQL/Java/Android/C#/AngularJS stack; EMV payment support; secure interoperability via middleware/API; disaster-recovery readiness; monthly governance, KPI and SLA reporting.
• Compliance and evidence: Stage 1 mandatory docs (CVs with consent letters dated ≤60 days, client references, appointment letters); B-BBEE certificate; CSD number; SARS Tax Compliance PIN; CIPC docs; copies of IDs; signed JV if applicable. • Scope deliverables: six months of SLA-driven ticketing support and maintenance for bus/rail systems including NEW9220 POS; system enhancements/upgrades; knowledge transfer to PRASA ICT.
• Interoperability scope: secure integration with SAP, STAR, TOMS, TDMS, GIS, Omni-Channels and legacy systems.
