Overview

RFQ for a service provider to assist with the removal of electronic waste and other hazardous substances from SAA premises. Bidders should have e-waste management capability, be accredited by e-Waste Association of South Africa (or equivalent), and have offices at relevant domestic airports or be affiliated with organisations that do. The vendor must collect e-waste, ensure its proper disposal, and supply destruction certificates, at no cost to SAA.

Requirements

• Accredited/licensed by eWASA or equivalent for e-waste management (provide accreditation certificate).
• Must provide an offer to purchase with bid response.
• Capable of collecting and disposing of listed e-waste; supply certificates of destruction; provide a decommissioning plan and company profile.
• Service to be performed at no cost to SAA.
• Offices at all domestic airports or affiliated with organisations that have them.
• Compliance with SAA General Conditions of Contract (Annexure 3) and returnable documents (SBD4).
• Tax clearance (original or valid) and CSD registration; B-BBEE status as required; firm prices (VAT excluded).
• Minimum functionality threshold 70% and specific goals scoring for B-BBEE where applicable.
