Overview

The procurement is for the appointment of a contractor to replace ablution extraction fans and associated equipment at Cape Town International Airport for a 10-month period. Bidders should be CIDB 4 ME or higher, with HVAC/mechanical installation experience and familiarity with NEC3 ECC3 contracts, and comply with airport OH&S requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 4 ME or higher.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN; optional TCS certificate or CSD registration if no TCS.
• Health and safety: comply with ACSA OH&S Specification; provide health & safety plan and medical certificates; induction and site safety procedures.
• Insurance: provide required insurances as per Annexure D and the contract data.
• Site access and pre-qualification: compulsory briefing and site inspection; attendance and pre-approval requirements.
• Submit on issued tender documents; format and signing rules; returnable documents as specified.
