Overview

RFQ for the disposal of approximately 40 damaged Unit Load Devices (AAP Containers), including collection, dismantling, transport and disposal, issued by South African Airways (SAA). Bidders with environmental, health and safety compliance, disposal capabilities and waste management licensing should bid. The exercise includes a mandatory site visit and evaluation on price, BBBEE and functionality, with responses due by the stated closing date and 90-day validity. Requirements

• Valid waste management licence issued by the relevant regulator.
• Tax clearance or CSD verification status and compliance with SAA contractual requirements.
• Evidence of BBBEE status for preference points (B-BBEE Level 1 or 2; 51% black-owned EMEs/QSEs eligible for points).
• Ability to undertake the full scope (collection, dismantling, transport and disposal) with own transport and equipment, and to supply disposal certificates and related documentation.
