Requirements

• CIDB grading: 3SQ or higher (or eligible to register prior to evaluation).
• Functional requirements: minimum 70/100 on T1.3.2 criteria (Previous related experience, HR capacity, Equipment capacity, Work/programme).
• Evaluation: pre-qualification, functionality (70+ to proceed), then price (80/20) with BBBEE points.
• Returnable documents: CIDB certificate or registration form; Pricing Schedule/BoQ; SBD 6.1; SBD 4; enterprise questionnaire; tax/compliance docs; B-BBEE or sworn affidavit; letters of previous experience; HR and Equipment capacity schedules; detailed project programme; contract documents as applicable.
• Compliance: ISO 9001 (or equivalent) for quality management; SHEQ safety provisions; statutory labour and environment laws; insurance requirements; security of site.
• Submissions: on-line only (not via email); use official forms; no bids from state-employed individuals.
• Clarifications/addenda: employers may issue clarifications up to 3 calendar days before closing.
• Procurement approach: fixed scope across multiple Rand Water sites, with a single awarded contractor; price and performance will determine award.
