Overview

RFQ for preventative and corrective maintenance of the MV & LV power reticulation network at Upington International Airport for a 5-year period. Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) invites bidders with CIDB 3 EP/EB or higher, who are registered electrical contractors with the Department of Labour (DOL), and who meet SARS tax/compliance and COIDA requirements to bid for this NEC3 Term Service Contract.

Requirements

• CIDB: valid 3 EP/EB or higher (as per Tender Data).
• DOL registrations: electrical contractor, with IE registration; CVs and trade certificates as evidence.
• Qualifications: IE registration (DOL), N3 Electrical or higher, trade test; Electrical Assistant with N2 and relevant experience.
• Experience: minimum 5+ years MV/LV maintenance; at least three reference letters from previous clients (contact details on letterhead).
• Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; fully compliant with tax matters; COIDA good standing.
• Insurance: proof of relevant insurances; contract to be signed only after valid insurance and related requirements are met.
• Site/administration: compulsory site inspection/clarification meeting; on-time submission; returnable documents completed and signed; on award, contract data and forms to be completed (NEC3 TSC) and bids may be rejected for non-compliance or non-responsiveness.
• Other: adherence to CIDB/CIDB processes; on-going safety and risk considerations as per Part C3 (Service Information).
