Provision of practical and on-the-job training for furnace operators at the Necsa Smelter Plant, Area 26, covering the safe and effective operation of the 125 kg/100 kW Coreless Induction Furnace, two 4-ton induction furnaces and associated subsystems. Suitable for training service providers with furnace operations, metallurgy, safety training and competency-based assessment expertise. Requirements

• Suitably qualified and experienced training service provider.
• Trainers: submit CVs and evidence of relevant qualifications/experience (see attached evaluation criteria).
• Submit a detailed training plan and schedule for Necsa approval before starting (1.6).
• Use actual plant equipment where practicable; cover 125 kg/100 kW furnace, two 4-ton furnaces and subsystems (power, cooling, off-gas, refractory, etc.) (1.2).
• Deliverables: training plan, manuals, supervised training, competency assessments, portfolios, certificates, final report (1.7).
• Safety, SHEQ and compliance: risk assessments, toolbox talks, PPE, electrical/arc-flash safety, emergency response, radiological safety, incident reporting, evacuation (1.4).
• Maintenance awareness and troubleshooting: identify faults, safe escalation; no unauthorised maintenance (1.5).
• Training methodology: practical, competency-based; Necsa approval of plan before training (1.6).
• Pricing: all taxes included; fixed price; include freight/insurance/duties; complete pricing; payment per Necsa terms (2).
• Evaluation: Phase 1 functionality/technical vs Phase 2 80/20 PPB; bidders scoring <80/100 are non-responsive (3).
