Overview

Necsa is seeking quotations for scaffolding erector and scaffolding inspector services. The Bill of Quantities covers five scaffolding erectors and three scaffolding inspectors. Bidders should have scaffolding erection/inspection capabilities with relevant safety qualifications and be able to price a fixed, all-inclusive quote (taxes, freight, insurance, etc.) for Necsa’s needs.

Requirements

• Tax Clearance Certificate, SARS tax pin
• Declaration of interest (SBD 4)
• B-BBEE Certificate or applicable EME affidavit
• COID/Good Standing letter (if required by the work)
• Price must be fixed and include all costs (tax, freight, insurance, duties, disbursements)
• Complete quote in full; failure to do so may disqualify
• Compliance with Necsa General Conditions of Purchase and PPPFA/PP Regulations 2022
• Phase 1: functionality/technical evaluation (up to 100 points)
• Phase 2: 80/20 price vs. B-BBEE/goals evaluation
• No deliveries without an official Necsa purchase order
• Necsa reserves the right to cancel or re-tender, or award parts to different bidders

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 12 October 2026, 08:00 (RFQ Closing) – submit before this time. (FIN-SCM-RFQ-0003)
• Submission method: email quotations to Catherine.Matima@necsa.co.za.
• Documents to submit: Tax Clearance, SBD 4, BEE certificate/EME affidavit, COID letter (if applicable), and any other documents requested in the RFQ. Include pricing for the BOQ items (scaffolding erector x5; scaffolding inspector x3).
• Briefing: Compulsory site briefing N/A; site address for context exists (metadata lists 1 TAU DR, Broederstroom).
• Where to obtain bid documents: the RFQ FIN-SCM-RFQ-0003 and the SOW document (see Scope of work (SOW) scaffolding erector and scaffolding inspector.docx).
