Overview

Request for quotation to supply and deliver ARFF PPE (fire and rescue) at Upington International Airport. Bidders should be PPE manufacturers/distributors with EN 469/NFPA 1971 certifications, capable of custom-fit measurement diagrams and on-site evaluation, and able to supply ARFF PPE to SA airports. Item specs and samples are outlined in Upington RFQ 7704 PPE.pdf.

Requirements

• PPE must meet EN 469 and NFPA 1971 (or higher) standards; jackets/pants require measurement diagrams for custom fit; on-site assessments will be conducted (see attached item list).
• Product samples, clear images, and EN/NFPA certification documents must accompany the bid.
• Returnable documents include: SBD 3.3 Pricing Schedule, Declaration of Interest, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Confidentiality/NDA, BBBEE/affidavits, Tax Pin (SARS), CSD, VAT Questionnaire, and ACSA Terms and Conditions.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax PIN or CSD number; consortia/JV must provide separate TCS for each party.
• Bid validity: 120 working days; security vetting may be required.
• All information provided must remain valid for contract duration; misrepresentation may lead to disqualification.

• Submit bid documents by 16 October 2026 at 12:00 to acsarfq@airports.co.za (split into at least four attachments of 4MB each) using official forms (do not retype).
• Clarifications may be requested by 15 October 2026; responses will be shared with all invited bidders (Ngakoane Tlhako).
• Include required documentation and pricing on the SBD 3.3 Pricing Schedule (see the attached file Upington RFQ 7704 PPE.pdf).
