Request for quotation for the supply and installation of UIF signage to the Unemployment Insurance Fund (Erratum)

Overview

Procurement of the supply and installation of UIF signage to the Unemployment Insurance Fund, including outdoor and indoor signage, 3D and illuminated logos, operating-hours sign, and an internal lift lobby/floor directory sign. Bidders should have signage fabrication/installation expertise, with at least 2 years’ relevant experience, CIDB 2GB, and provide reference letters. Requires VAT registration (encouraged to claim VAT), SBD 3.1 compliance, two-envelope submission, and PPPFA evaluation (80/20). A compulsory on-site briefing is scheduled, and bid validity is 90 days.

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in similar signage projects
• At least two reference letters on company letterhead, signed/not older than 3 months
• CIDB grade 2GB accreditation (attach certificate)
• VAT registration encouraged; bidders must quote on SBD 3.1
• Physical submission in two envelopes (one for Functionality, one for Price)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS or CSD number; proof required
• PPPFA evaluation using 80/20 (price vs. specific goals); SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 required
• Comply with SANS 10085-1:2004 scaffolding standard
• Compulsory on-site briefing (94 WF Nkomo building, Pretoria)
