Requirements

• CIDB prequalification: CE 1.
• Demonstrated experience: minimum 3 relevant projects in last 5 years (surveying trenches/ponds with radioactive material).
• Equipment/techniques: unmanned/remotely controlled kit; acoustic depth measurement; sediment penetration with low-frequency acoustics; precise horizontal/vertical positioning; water surface elevation measurement.
• Personnel: team leader with 11+ years’ experience; CVs and references; professional membership: SAGC, SACNASP, or ECSA (proof required).
• Deliverables: bathymetric survey results, sediment volume, contour plans, digital survey data, and a comprehensive methodology/report; provide raw x,y,z data files.
• Safety/compliance: radiological contamination precautions; decontamination plan; PPE for all personnel; replacement cost of equipment at book value if contaminated.
• Pricing/contracting: fixed price (including taxes), include attendance for 1-day training, include replacement cost of equipment; payment per Necsa General Conditions of Purchase; PPPFA compliance.
• Documentation: Tax Clearance, Declaration of Interest (SBD 4), B-BBEE or EME affidavit, COIDA Good Standing.

• Closing and submission: RFQ closes 25 Aug 2026 at 16:00; submit responses to Catherine.matima@necsa.co.za (see Request for Quotation_MMT Pond 6.pdf).
• Content to submit: complete quote using Table 1 (pricing), include methodology, CVs, proof of CIDB CE 1 prequal, tax clearance, SBD 4, B-BBEE/EME affidavit, COIDA, and any other documents requested in the RFQ (see Request for Quotation_MMT Pond 6.pdf).
• Evaluation: Phase 1 functionality (out of 100 points; threshold 80). Phase 2: 80/20 price vs. B-BBEE goals; CIDB prequalification retained; high-scoring bidders proceed.
