Overview

Provision of maintenance and repairs of the booster pump house at George Airport for a 12-month period, by Airports Company South Africa. Suitable bidders are civil/mechanical contractors with CIDB contractor grading 1 ME or higher and proven pump-maintenance capability, able to provide site services and long-term support as required.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 1 ME or higher (as stated in Tender Data).
• Demonstrable pump maintenance experience with reference letters (Form A5) and verifiable client contact details.
• Tax and supplier status compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or Centric Supplier Database (CSD) registration; provide proof as applicable.
• Valid insurance cover and COIDA good standing (proof required at award) and compliance with all bid-administration rules (signatures, returnable documents, and no material deviations).

• Clarifications: submit queries by 05 August 2026 at 16:00 (Bulelani Tebele; Bulelani.Tebele@airports.co.za).
• Non-compulsory briefing: 31 July 2026 at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams (link in tender notice).
• Site inspection: non-compulsory, on request at George Airport; bring ID, safety boots, reflector vest.
• Submission: by 12 August 2026 at 16:00, emailed to acsarfq@airports.co.za. Do not email as one large attachment; break into at least four attachments of about 4 MB each. Use the official bid forms and returnable documents; include pricing schedules and evidence of CIDB, tax compliance, insurance, and COIDA where required.
• Record-keeping and format: submit one tender offer (or as JV if applicable), with original plus copies and electronic copy per the contract data; ensure all signatures and packaging requirements are met (outer package details, etc.).

Notes: No bid will be awarded to entities not registered on CSD, or lacking tax or insurance prerequisites; the contract is fixed-price for the 12-month term and subject to the CIDB/GCC conditions and ACSA procurement rules.
