Overview

Provision of a 36-month standby diesel generator maintenance contract at Western Precinct. Bidders should hold at least CIDB contractor grade 3 EP/EB or higher, have relevant standby generator maintenance experience, and be familiar with NEC3 Term Service Contract arrangements. The tender is issued by Airports Company South Africa (ACSA).

Requirements

• Tax compliance: SARS PIN, and where applicable, a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate; separate TCS for each JV/consortium; CSD number if no TCS.
• Submit on official forms; electronic submissions to acsarfq@airports.co.za or via the bid box; ensure all returnable documents and pricing schedules are completed.
• Insurance: Employer provides certain insurances; Contractor must maintain required insurances per the contract (Contract Works and Public Liability) per the Insurance Schedule (C1.4).
• Contract framework: NEC3 Term Service Contract (April 2013) with the specified Special Conditions; incl. dispute resolution (W1) and price adjustments (X1 CPI).
• Clarifications: Pre-bid clarification can be sought by 11 Sept 2026; query deadline for clarification is 7 Sept 2026.
• Briefing: Non-compulsory briefing via Microsoft Teams (details in the tender) prior to closing.

How to Apply
