Overview

This RFQ seeks the supply and delivery of consumables for the Metro Rail Gauteng Region (one-off). Bidders should be capable suppliers of consumables with the ability to deliver to PRASA in Johannesburg, adhering to PRASA’s procurement rules, tax/compliance checks, and PPPFA-based evaluation.

Requirements

• Completed Pricing and Delivery Schedule form.
• Completed BOQ / Pricing Schedule.
• Signed RFQ and Standard Bid Documents (SBD) forms.
• Letter of Good Standing: COIDA.
• SARS Tax Compliance status (PIN) and/or CSD registration number.
• If a joint venture/consortium/subcontractor is involved, separate TCS/CSD/lead bidder details and agreements.
• Compliance with tax and state‑relations rules (no service of the state restrictions; adhere to CSD/PIN requirements).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 08 September 2026 at 10:00 CAT.
• Submission method: hand deliver to the bid box; no email or fax accepted.
• Address for hand delivery: Ground Floor Shosholoza Meyl Junction, Cnr Leyds and Simmonds Street, Braamfontein.
• Documents to submit (as applicable): Pricing and Delivery Schedule, BOQ/Pricing Schedule, RFQ/SBD documents, COIDA letter, SARS PIN, CSD number, JV/consortium agreements if any, proof of authority.
• If not already in the Central Supplier Database, provide a CSD number; ensure SARS PIN is supplied.
• Evaluation will consider compliance, technical functionality (min 60%), price (80) and specific goals (20). Returnable documents and complete declarations are mandatory.
