Overview

PRASA invites bids for the supply and delivery of oxygen to PRASA stores, specifically oxygen in 11.5 kg containers from various cylinder types. Suitable bidders are industrial gas suppliers with delivery capability to Braamfontein, with strong tax/compliance credentials (SARS PIN, CSD, COIDA), and experience delivering gas cylinders under formal procurement processes.

Requirements

• Mandatory bid documents: Pricing and Delivery Schedule; BOQ/Pricing Schedule; Signed RFQ/SBD forms.
• Compliance: Tax compliance (SARS PIN/TCS), CSD registration number, COIDA good standing; all declarations completed.
• Eligibility: Suppliers may bid solo or as part of a JV/consortium; each party must meet tax and CSD requirements; service-of-state restrictions apply.
• Experience: Demonstrate organizational experience with similar projects; provide client contacts and contract details to support Stage 2 scoring (minimum 60% for functionality).
• Specific goals: Points for Black Youth owned (10) and Black Women owned (10); provide supporting evidence (ID copies, CSD/MAAA number).
• Pricing/Delivery: Fixed price in Rand, inclusive of taxes; complete Pricing Schedule and Delivery details; indicate delivery lead times.
• Evaluation: 80 points for price, 20 for specific goals; Stage 2 requires minimum functionality threshold of 60%.

• Documents to submit (as applicable): Completed Pricing and Delivery Schedule; BOQ/Pricing Schedule; RFQ/SBD forms; COIDA letter; SARS PIN; CSD number; JV/Consortium agreements if relevant; evidence of prior similar projects. • Registrations: Ensure SARS PIN, CSD, and COIDA status are valid; foreign suppliers must answer the RSA/tax questions as applicable.

• Returnable documents must be complete; non-submission may disqualify.
