Overview

RFQ: Supply and maintenance of pot plants at King Shaka International Airport for 36 months. This is targeted at landscaping/horticulture service providers with indoor-plant care, ornamental horticulture or facilities management experience. Bid readiness requires relevant plant maintenance experience, strong references, and compliance with SA health, safety, and tax requirements.

Requirements

• Experience: servicing/maintenance of indoor pot plants or related horticulture; completed contracts 1+ year with contract value >= R150,000 (incl. VAT). Evidence via client references.
• Key personnel: Plant Services Technician (min 1 year) and Contract Manager (min 2 years); qualifications in plant care/landscaping/horticulture (NQF 2+ for Technician; NQF 4+ for Contract Manager).
• Mandatory compliance: COIDA/FEMA good standing; SARS Tax PIN; CSD registration; valid VAT status; BEE documentation.
• Insurance and environment: Public liability insurance (as per Annex) and EMS 048 environmental terms; OHS compliance; confidentiality obligations.
• Contract framework: NEC3 Term Service Contract with KPIs and possible change management; minimum 55/100 points to pass evaluation (Experience 50, Key Team 50).
• Documentation: complete, priced offer with required returnables; no deviations unless in deviations schedule.
