REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND OFFLOADING OF HIGH-GRADE HOT-MIX ASPHALT AND THE REPAIR OF POTHOLES FOR A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS AT KING PHALO AIRPORT

Overview

This RFQ seeks the supply, delivery and offloading of high-grade hot-mix asphalt and the repair of potholes for a six-month period at King Phalo Airport. Bidders should have CIDB contractor grading 1 CE or higher and capability in asphalt supply/roadworks, plus compliance with tax, CIDB and supplier registration requirements to participate.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading 1 CE or higher.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN (TCS) or a printed TCS certificate; separate TCS/CSD for each party in JV/consortium.
• Returnable documents: submit one original tender offer plus one copy and an electronic version on USB; English translation if required; sign all copies.
• Submission by deadline: 29 October 2026 at 12h00 to Acsarfq@airports.co.za; late bids not accepted.
• Documents to complete: official forms; PPPFA/GCC compliance; fully signed contract post-award.
• Briefing/site: non-compulsory briefing 21 October 2026 11:00–12:00; site inspection after briefing (compulsory to attend).
• Clarifications: query closure 26 October 2026 12:00; directed to Itumeleng Bosman.

• Contract type and terms: NEC3 Term Service Contract; price adjustments are fixed for the contract duration; 12-week bid validity.
