Overview

This RFQ seeks qualified service providers to supply airport transfers and shuttle services for two international conferences in Johannesburg in Aug–Sept 2026. It covers A) Global Methodist Church Conference delegates (OR Tambo to Sandton/Rosebank hotels, 24 Aug–8 Sep 2026) and B) Jehovah’s Witnesses International Convention delegates (OR Tambo to Sandton/Midrand/Rosebank hotels and Gallagher Centre, 25 Aug–01 Sep 2026). Bidders should be professional tour/transport operators with fleets of 12+ seater vehicles, valid PDPs, and operating licenses, plus CSD registration, SARS tax clearance, VAT registration if applicable, and capacity to manage multi-site, time-bound itineraries.

Requirements

• Drivers’ valid PDP for vehicles carrying 12 or more passengers; valid Road Transportation Permit/Operating License for each vehicle.
• Accreditation: Central Supplier Database (CSD), SARS Tax Clearance, VAT registration if applicable.
• Financial/operational: current municipal accounts for bidder and directors not in arrears >90 days; proof of public/passenger liability insurance; valid Road Transport Permit for each vehicle.
• Compliance: complete required MBD forms (1, 3.3, 4, 6.1, 8, 9) and attach all returnable documents.

• Method: Quotations deposited in sealed bid/tender box at Sandton Library Offices, Nelson Mandela Square, West Street, Sandton.
• Documents to submit: Completed pricing schedule; MBD forms (1, 3.3, 4, 6.1, 8, 9); Declaration on Municipal Accounts; current CSD report; municipal accounts for bidder and directors; valid copies of all mandatory documents (as listed in NB section).
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD accreditation; SARS Tax Clearance; VAT registration; proof of public liability insurance; valid PDPs and road licenses.
