Overview

SAFCOL invites quotes for the removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos roof sheets with IBR sheets at Bergvliet Plantation. The works cover removal of asbestos roofs on 10 village houses and installation of corrugated roof sheets with associated carpentry, waterproofing and finishing. Suitable bidders are established construction contractors with asbestos handling capability and roofing experience, and must possess relevant certifications (CIDB 1GB or higher), SANAS-accredited B-BBEE verification or EME/QSE sworn affidavit, and current tax clearance.

Requirements

• Complete RFQ on company letterhead; submit via email to the specified address.
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited verification or EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• Latest SARS tax clearance and National CSD registration (or MA-AA number).
• CIDB registration of at least 1GB or higher.
• Proof of registration to handle asbestos (DoL/DoH where applicable) and COIDA good standing.
• Return two reference letters or completion certificates for similar works.
• ID copies of company directors; company registration documents.
• All SBD documents signed and returned.
