Overview

** RFQ for removal of asbestos roof sheets and replacement with IBR roof sheets at Bergvliet Plantation (RFQ/BERG/802/046/2026).** Target bidders are construction contractors with registered asbestos handling capability, CIDB 1GB or higher, and the ability to meet SAFCOL’s B-BBEE, tax, and local-empowerment requirements. Site: Bergvliet Plantation, Sabie area.

Requirements

• Completion of the RFQ document and submission of an official quotation on company letterhead.
• Email submissions to RFQCentralNSP@safcol.co.za; questions to viola@safcol.co.za.
• Returnable documents: Latest tax clearance, B-BBEE certificate (SANAS or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE), CSD report or MAAA number, company registration documents, IDs of directors, SBD forms.
• CIDB grade 1GB or higher; COIDA good standing; registered asbestos-handling capability; two reference letters or completion certificates for similar works.
• If bidding as a Joint Venture, consolidate B-BBEE documentation.
• Prices inclusive of VAT; RFQ validity 60 days.

How to Apply

• Submissions due: 21 October 2026 (12:00 PM) per RFQ document; no compulsory briefing session.
• Method: Email to RFQCentralNSP@safcol.co.za with RFQ number in the subject line.
• Documents to submit: fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, tax clearance, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD/MAAA number, directors’ ID copies, SBDs; any JV details if applicable.
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB 1GB+, COIDA good standing, asbestos-handling registration.
