Overview

SAFCOL invites quotations for the removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos roof sheets with IBR roof sheets at Jessievale Plantation (10 village houses). Bidders should have asbestos handling capability and roofing experience, with CIDB 1GB or higher, and meet SAFCOL’s compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Administrative/compliance: complete RFQ on company letterhead; submit via email; include SBDs; latest SARS tax clearance; SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate or EME/QSE sworn affidavit; CSD/MAAA number; IDs of company directors.
• Mandatory qualifications: valid COIDA good standing; CIDB 1GB or higher; proof of registration with labour department to handle asbestos; two reference letters; demonstrated key personnel experience; proof of financial capacity (recent bank statement or approved funding).
• JV rules: consolidated B-BBEE certificate for joint ventures.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price-specific goals; 51%+ Black Owned qualifies for 20 points.
• Returnable docs and proof as specified in the RFQ.
