Overview

RFQ for First Aid Level 1 and Level 2 Training for Gauteng Province on an “as and when” basis, for a period of 24 months. Target bidders are Skills Development Providers with QCTO accreditation for SP-230801 Basic Emergency First Aid Responder (and SP-230802 for Level 2), plus DoL or SETA approval as a first aid organisation, capable of delivering to PRASA. The BOQ indicates 500 units of Level 1 and 266 units of Level 2.

Requirements

• Accredited provider for SP-230801 (Basic Emergency First Aid Responder) and SP-230802; proof of accreditation required (see attached specifications).
• Trainers must hold valid emergency first-aid qualifications and ETQA/QCTO assessor/moderator credentials; minimum three years’ practical first-aid experience.

• Evaluation: Stage 1A/1B mandatory requirements; Stage 2 60% threshold for technical; Stage 3 80/20 price vs. goals; specific goals include Black Women-owned 10 points, Black Owned 10 points (EME/QSE 51%); evidence required.
